The Resistance

Prompt: Talk about one or more of the Resistance readings.  What were your feelings?  Connections? Thoughts?

My feelings of the resistance are that they were very brave. The reason I´d say that about them is because they risked their lives for their and others’ freedom while fighting Germans. One connection I can make with the resistance, is that if I was restricted into a small area with very poor conditions(the ghettos) I would also fight back for my freedom. My thoughts about the resistance are they where also crazy in a way because they did have guns and weapons like the Germans but they weren't experienced and as skilled as the Germans. But they still fought which is amazing to me and most likely many others. I conclude that the resistance was very brave and crazy for fighting the Germans.

  1. I agree with you I think the Jews were very brave. Even when the odds were highly against the Jews, they kept on fighting for what they thought was right. They would risk their lives for family and for freedom. I also agree with the fact that they weren't skilled but they still fought. That is a very brave and courageous thing to do. A lot of people could't do that. Most of the Jews had absoluty no skill with weaponry, compared to the Germans who trained for this type of stuff.
